70 Percent Of Ordu Stadium Constructin Is Completed

The construction of a 22,000-seat stadium in Ordu, which started in May last year, was completed by 70 percent. Ordu Stadium Project Manager Cevat Taşkesengil stated that the construction work of the new stadium with 22 thousand spectators capacity is going on at full speed.

Roof Covering Continues Quickly

Taskesengil, who said that a quick work was being exhibited in the construction of the stadium where the first dig was excavated in May of last year, added: “At the moment, the stadium is completed with 80 percent steel construction, 70 percent external facade and 60 percent roofing. In general physical conditions, 70 percent of the stadium is completed. We are currently working with 260 workers to complete the stadium for the new season.”

Taskesengil stated that they aimed to cover the roof and finish the exterior wall until the end of April, "We aim to start the production of grass field infrastructure in the middle of May. We will construct a 105 x 68 meter lawn area of the stadium built on an area of 54 thousand square meters, with underfloor heating so that it will not be adversely affected by the winter conditions. All our goal is to complete the stadium to the new season. " The Stadium Will Have Restaurants and Time Spots Pointing out that the Ordu Stadium was built as a complex, Taşkesenligil noted that the stadium will have 565 capacity car parks, 428 closed and 137 open, and there will also be places where restaurants and people can spend time in the stadium.
