Istanbul Metro Lines Launching in 2020

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is building new rail system lines of 221.70 kilometers. Considering the projects under construction and in the tender process, it is aimed to establish a 517.95 km rail system network in 2023. The main target is to reach a total network of 1,100 kilometers. Construction works continue on 17 metro lines. Three of these 17 subways will open in 2020.in Here are the three metro lines that will launch in 2020 in Istanbul.

 

1-) Dudullu - Bostancı Subway Line

The Dudullu - Bostancı Metro Line will be 14.30 kilometers long. The journey time on the metro line will be 15 minutes. The metro line will connect Kadıköy, Maltepe, Ataşehir and Ümraniye districts. Dudullu - Bostancı Metro Line is planned to be put into service in 2020. Dudullu - Bostancı Metro Line consists of 13 stations. Stations are as follows; Bostancı IDO, Emin Ali Pasa, Aysekadin, Kozyatağı, Küçükbakkalköy, İçerenköy, Kayışdağı, Mevlana, IMES, Modoko / KEYAP, Dudullu, Peace, Parcels.

 

Dudullu - Bostancı Metro Line will be integrated with,

IDO and Marmaray at Bostancı Station

Kadıköy - Tavşantepe Rail System Line at Kozyatağı Station

Üsküdar - Ümraniye - Cekmekoy / Sancaktepe Metro Line at Dudullu Station

Altunizade - Ataşehir - Sancaktepe - Sultanbeyli - Sabiha Gökçen Airport Metro Line at Mevlana Station

 

When Dudullu-Bostancı metro line is finished, distances will be reduced in these minutes;

Dudullu - Bostancı Ido 18 minutes

Huzur- Suadiye 17.5 minutes

Bostancı - Alibeykoy 47 minutes

Dudullu - Taksim 38.5 minutes

Bostancı - Kayışdağı 11 minutes

Kozyatağı - Maslak 48,5 minutes

Bostancı - Bayrampaşa 34 minutes

İçerenköy - Taksim 38 minutes

Küçükbakkalköy - Bakırkoy 39 minutes

Mevlana - Yenikapi 33 minutes

Modoko - Eminönü 26 minutes

 

2-) Boğaziçi University / Hisarüstü Aşiyan - Funikuler Line

Hisarüstü Aşiyan-Funikuler Line will be 0.80 kilometers long. Boğaziçi University / Hisarüstü Aşiyan-Funikuler Line which will take 2.5 minutes for a journey is planned to be put into service in 2020. Boğaziçi University / Hisarüstü - Aşiyan Sahil Funikuler Line consists of 2 stations. The stations are: Boğaziçi University / Hisarüstü, Aşiyan Sahil.

Boğaziçi University / Hisarüstü - Aşiyan Sahil Funikuler Line will be integrated with Levent - Rumeli Hisarüstü Metro Line at Boğaziçi University / Hisarüstü Station.

When Boğaziçi University / Hisarüstü - With Aşiyan Sahil Funikuler Line is launched,distances will be reduced in these minutes;

Boğaziçi University / Hisarüstü - Aşiyan Sahil 2.5 minutes

Aşiyan Sahil - Levent 7 minutes

Aşiyan Sahil - Yenikapı 23 minutes

Aşiyan Sahil - Mecidiyeköy 10.5 minutes

 

3-) Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Tavşantepe Subway Line

Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Tavşantepe Metro Line will be 7.40 kilometers long. The journey time on the metro line will be 11.5 minutes. Sabiha Gökçen Airport-Tavşantepe Metro Line will consist of 5 stations.These are the stations of Sabiha Gökçen Airport-Tavşantepe Metro Line; Sabiha Gökçen Airport,Sanayi, Yayalar, Hastane,Tavşantepe. Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Tavşantepe Metro Line is planned to be put into service in 2020.

 

Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Tavşantepe Metro Line will be integrated with;

Kurtkoy - Sabiha Gokçen Airport Subway Line and Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Tuzla (O.S.B) Rail System Line at Sabiha Gökçen Airport Station

Kaynarca merkez - Pendik Sahil Subway Line at Hastane Station

Kadıköy - Kartal - Tavşantepe Subway Line at Tavşantepe Station

 

When Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Tavşantepe Subway Line is launched,distances will be reduced to these minutes;

Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Pendik merkez 15 minutes

Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Kartal 18 minutes

Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Üsküdar - 53.5 minutes

Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Yenikapi 62.5 minutes

Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Taksim 70 minutes

Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Ataturk Airport 92.5 minutes
